1. Introduction
These Terms govern your use of our website and your purchase of our products.
2. Ordering, Collection & Delivery
2.1 Placing an Order
All orders must be placed via https://www.coralcakes.shop/
Full payment is required at checkout.
2.2 Collection Orders
Collection address:
13A Oldcourt Road, D24 F8Y9, Dublin
Collection times:
Thursday & Friday: 10:30–14:30
Saturday: 10:30–14:30
Other collection dates may be available upon request, depending on availability.
Customer responsibilities:
Collect your order within the stated timeframe.
Uncollected orders are not refunded or replaced.
Date changes are not guaranteed; if unavailable, the original date remains and no refund is granted.
2.3 Delivery Orders
Delivery Schedule
Dispatch every Thursday via DPD.
Expected delivery: Friday (but may take up to 2 days depending on courier delays).
Order Cut-Off
Last call for same-week delivery: Wednesday at 10:00 am
Delivery Fees
Delivery fee required; if unpaid, order defaults to collection.
If No Delivery Date Is Selected
The order will automatically ship on the next available delivery date.
Courier Process (DPD)
If the customer is not home or does not answer:
DPD may leave the parcel in a safe place.
If a parcel left in a safe place becomes wet, damaged, spoiled, or compromised, Coral Cakes is not responsible.
Customers must ensure someone is home to accept the delivery.
Customer Errors
Coral Cakes is not liable for:
Incorrect delivery addresses
Missed deliveries
Parcels not retrieved after courier attempts
Delays caused by DPD
Products Not Eligible for Delivery
The following items are collection only:
Cakes
Cupcakes
Cheesecake
Party bundles
Donuts
If mistakenly ordered for delivery, a €2 fee is deducted from the refund.
3. Payment
Payment must be made in full at checkout.
No cancellations or refunds after payment.
4. Product Quality, Complaints & Liability
4.1 Quality
Products are prepared fresh and to high standards.
After collection or delivery, Coral Cakes is not responsible for damage or deterioration.
4.2 Gluten-Free Fragility
Gluten-free products are more delicate and may crumble or break easily.
Minor breakage is not grounds for refund or replacement.
4.3 Complaints
Complaints must be reported immediately on the same day of collection/delivery.
To submit a complaint, customers must provide:
Photo of the product
Photo of outer packaging
Photo of the sealed box or bag (unopened)
Complaints cannot be processed if:
The product is already opened
Photos are missing
The complaint is not reported immediately
5. Allergens and Dietary Requirements
All products are gluten-free but may contain dairy, eggs, sesame, gluten free oats, nuts, and soy.
Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredients.
6. Consumer Rights
We comply with:
Consumer Rights Act 2022
EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU)
Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980
FSAI regulations
Perishable goods are not eligible for cancellation rights.

9. Pricing & Availability
Prices may change at any time.
Availability is not guaranteed.
10. Delivery Delays & Limitations
Coral Cakes is not liable for courier delays, weather issues, or missed deliveries.
11. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for:
Courier issues
Weather damage
Customer storage errors
Incorrect addresses
Allergic reactions
Indirect or consequential loss
Liability is capped at the order total.
12. Product Variations
All Coral Cakes products are handmade. As a result:
Colours, shapes, sizes, designs, and decorations may vary slightly.
Images on the website or social media are representative examples only.
Exact replicas cannot be guaranteed.
Slight differences or imperfections are normal and do not qualify for refunds or replacements.
13. Storage & Consumption
Customers are responsible for proper storage after collection or delivery.
Products should be stored according to instructions provided with the order.
Items should be consumed within the recommended timeframe.
Damage caused by improper storage is not the responsibility of Coral Cakes.
Examples:
Items left in a warm car
Refrigerated items left at room temperature
Items stored in humid or unsuitable environments
14. Events, Catering & Large Orders
For large, event, or catering orders:
Advance notice is required.
A deposit may be required depending on order size.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Final payment deadlines must be met; unpaid orders may be cancelled without refund.
Any customization requests must be clearly communicated in writing.
Coral Cakes is not responsible for event issues caused by:
Incorrect event details provided
Late collection
Improper handling after collection
