1. Introduction
Welcome to Coral Cakes. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of our baked goods. By placing an order, you agree to abide by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with your order.
2. Ordering, Collection and Delivery
Orders must be placed through our website https://www.coralcakes.shop/ in advance.
Collection is available at our premises: D16 WV38, Dublin, Ireland.
Collection times are as follows:
Thursday and Friday: 10:30 - 18:00
Saturday 10:30-14:00
It is the customer’s responsibility to collect their order within the designated timeframe. Uncollected orders will not be refunded or replaced. No exceptions.
Delivery Terms & Conditions – Delivery Box
Only the Delivery Box is available for delivery.
Deliveries are dispatched on Tuesdays.
Orders are sent via next-day delivery and are expected to arrive on Wednesday.
Please note: delays can occur. Delivery may take up to 2 days depending on the carrier.
We are not responsible for delays caused by the delivery service.
3. Payment
All payments must be made in full at the time of ordering.
We accept credit/debit cards.
No refunds or cancellations will be accepted once the order has been confirmed and paid.
4. Product Quality and Liability
We take great care in ensuring our products are of the highest quality.
Once an order has been collected, we are no longer responsible for any damage, deterioration, or improper storage of the products.
We do not accept returns due to the perishable nature of our products.
5. Allergens and Dietary Requirements
Our products are gluten free.
Our products may contain common allergens such as dairy, eggs, nuts, and soy.
We are not liable for any allergic reactions. Customers must inform themselves of ingredients before purchasing.
6. Consumer Rights and Business Protection
As a business based in Ireland, we adhere to the Consumer Rights Act 2022, which provides fair trading rules and rights for consumers. However, due to the nature of our products (perishable goods), customers do not have the right to cancel orders under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
Under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980, our products must meet satisfactory quality standards. However, once collected, the responsibility of maintaining product quality shifts to the customer.
We comply with all relevant food safety regulations as outlined by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI).
